General Meetings

General meetings are usually held on Thursday nights at 7 P.M. on a biweekly basis in CHEN 106.The purpose of these meetings is to provide AIChE members with a morein depth perspective in the field of chemical engineering. Thesemeetings typically feature an industry guest speaker who gives a 30minute presentation about the company they work for, their specificjob, and/or any project they are currently involved in. Immediatelyfollowing each meeting, FREE food and drinks are served to allattendees. T-shirts, hats, and other AIChE items can usually bepurchased at general meetings.

Lunch and Learns

Come learn about a company in the chemical engineering industry – andget a free lunch out of it! Cuisine from restaurants such as TacoCabana, Double Dave's Pizza Works, Jason's Deli, Layne's or Shipley'sDonuts is typically served. Lunch and Learns are held in the chemicalengineering conference room on the second floor of the Jack E. Brownbuilding from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM.
